All lumber listed below is 100% FSC-certified as reclaimed, has not been re-graded or stamped, and is softwood lumber typically found in the Pacific NorthWest unless otherwise noted. We assess these materials using the following categories, which can be found in each individual listing:
Premium - clean, standard nominal dimensions, visually nail-free, minimal or no defects or signs of use
Common - standard nominal dimensions, some cosmetic defects (mud splatter, nail holes, weathering), some defects similar to Stud-Select or No.2 grades
Farm Pack - “it ain’t pretty, but my goats won’t judge”… cosmetic and other defects (concrete splatter, buried screws and nails, checking), sold in units of mixed dimensions and lengths as described in each individual product listing
Salvage - older timbers, often full dimension, with a range of “character” from its previous life
